2 Trip To Brazil

I just returned from Salvador, Bahia Brazil ( November 4- 10, 2008). Besides catching 4 flights going and 3 flights coming as well as passing through 3 time zones, I had a great time! This time I stayed at the residence of the Carlos family. The were very nice and took me in like I was one their own.

The food was delicious, from the mango juice to the lasanga ( made to die for ) cooked by my freind Val. Everything that was on my plate was not only eye pleasing but very succulent! I felt I was at a 5 star Restaraunt . Traffic was always busy with my body only inches away from the streets but there were no accidents or casualties. The beach weather was 80-87 degrees farenheit. People were swimming, fishing, sailing or just taking in the sun while eating lunch.

The hightlight of the trip was my taking part in a capoeira class. I suited up and it was just my luck that the master selected me for the 1st round. I took my oponent on with out hesitatation. I hit once, twice and thrice as the sound resontaed in the room. 1,2, 3, thumb, palm , thumb the sequence for playing my oponent , the tamborine.I was then given my title as a capoeirista.

Regretfully, I did not see all of Salvador, but all that I see or participate in I will never forget which gives me more a reason to return.
